Hoş geldiniz! Welcome to the Land of Pagodas. Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport (RGN), you will be warmly received by our English/Turkish-speaking representative holding a personalized welcome board. After a short briefing and traditional jasmine garland greeting, transfer in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your boutique heritage hotel in downtown Yangon.
Late afternoon, depart for the highlight of the day — the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, a 2,600-year-old golden stupa rising 99 meters above the city, encrusted with 27 metric tons of gold leaf and crowned with thousands of diamonds and rubies. Our private photography guide will walk you through the four cardinal entrances, planetary posts, and meditation halls, timing your visit for the legendary blue hour when the pagoda glows against the deepening Burmese sky.

📸 Capture monks and pilgrims in their crimson and saffron robes against gilded shrines — wide aperture (f/2.8) recommended.
📸 Chinatown 19th Street after dusk: street food vendors, neon Burmese script, candid portraits.
📸 Sule Pagoda traffic-circle long exposure (10–30 sec) for light-trail compositions.
📸 Best light: 16:30 – 19:00. Bring tripod, 24–70mm and 70–200mm lenses.

After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Domestic Airport for the morning flight to Myeik (approx. 1 hr 45 min) — a hidden coastal gem in southern Tanintharyi Region with a unique blend of Bamar, Mon, Malay, Chinese and Indian heritage. Upon arrival, our local Myeik specialist will welcome you and transfer you to your seafront hotel.
After a refreshing seafood lunch at a riverside restaurant, embark on a half-day walking and photography tour of Myeik's old quarter. Discover Theindawgyi Pagoda perched on the hilltop with sweeping views over the harbor, the bustling fish market with its vibrant catches and lively traders, the Tamoethee Pagoda, and rows of pastel-painted colonial shophouses untouched by mass tourism.
As the day winds down, drive up to Pahtaw Pahtet Hill for an unforgettable sunset over the Myeik Archipelago — a panorama of more than 800 islands scattered across the Andaman Sea.
Overnight in Myeik — Hotel Grand Jade/ Mya See Sein Hotel / Pearl Laguna Resort or similar.

(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch onboard, Dinner)
An early breakfast prepares you for one of the most spectacular days of the journey. Board our chartered private speedboat at the Myeik jetty and set sail across emerald waters to the legendary Myeik Archipelago — one of Asia's last truly unspoiled marine frontiers.
Our first stop is Smart Island, famed for its sugar-white sand beach, gin-clear shallows, and dramatic limestone outcrops. Time for swimming, snorkeling, and unhurried beach photography. We continue to Gypsy (Jipsea) Village — home of the Moken people, the legendary nomadic 'sea gypsies' who have lived on traditional kabang boats for centuries. With our cultural liaison, respectfully document their stilt houses, daily life, hand-carved boats, and the children of the sea.
After a fresh seafood lunch served onboard, sail to Bali Island, an undiscovered paradise with crescent-shaped bays, swaying palms and turquoise lagoons that rival its Indonesian namesake. Snorkel above coral gardens, walk barefoot on virgin sand, and witness one of the most pristine sunsets in Southeast Asia.
Return to Myeik in the late evening.
Overnight in Myeik — Hotel Grand Jade/ Mya See Sein Hotel / Pearl Laguna Resort or similar.
Photography Highlights — Day 3
📸 Smart Island aerials : turquoise gradients meeting white sand — shoot at 11:00–14:00 for maximum color saturation.
📸 Moken portraits: ask permission first; use 50mm or 85mm prime, natural light, and shoot eye-level with children.
📸 Kabang boats: detail shots of weathered wood, fishing nets, hand tools — great for storytelling sequences.
📸 Bali Island sunset: low tide reveals tidal patterns; use ND filter for silky water and 10-stop for cloud blur.
📸 Underwater housing recommended for snorkeling — coral gardens at 1–4m depth.
(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast and a leisurely morning, transfer to Myeik Airport for the short scenic flight to Kawthaung (approx. 50 min) — Myanmar's southernmost frontier town, separated only by a narrow river from Ranong, Thailand. Historically known as 'Victoria Point' under the British, Kawthaung is a vibrant, multicultural port town brimming with photogenic charm.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy lunch overlooking the Andaman Sea. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour visiting the iconic Bayintnaung Statue — the warrior king pointing defiantly toward Thailand, the colorful Pyi Daw Aye Pagoda perched on a hill, and the lively local market with its mix of Burmese, Thai, and Malay flavors.
Conclude the day with a sunset photography session at Cape Bayintnaung, where the meeting point of the Andaman Sea and Pakchan River creates spectacular light reflections.
Overnight in Kawthaung — Awei Pilla Resort.
Photography Highlights — Day 4
📸 Aerial shots from the flight — request right-side window for views over countless islands.
📸 Bayintnaung Statue: low-angle hero shot with sky background; golden hour for warm side-lighting.
📸 Pyi Daw Aye Pagoda: panoramic city + sea view; ideal for time-lapse of the harbor.
📸 Cape Bayintnaung sunset: long exposure with ND filter — 30 sec to soften the sea texture.
📸 Market street photography: rich color palette of fabrics, fruits, and faces.
(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch onboard, Dinner)
Set sail at sunrise for a full-day expedition into the southern Kaw Thaung Archipelago. Our first destination is Shark Island (Kyun Phila), named for its dorsal-fin silhouette, where dramatic cliffs, hidden coves and pristine reefs make for breathtaking imagery. Snorkel in waters teeming with parrotfish, blacktip reef sharks (harmless), and rainbow-hued corals.
Continue to a traditional Moken Village, where you'll spend quality time with the indigenous sea-nomad community. Witness their unique way of life — wooden kabang boats hand-built from a single tree, free-diving fishermen who hold their breath for several minutes, women weaving pandanus mats, and children playing in the surf. With our local interpreter, capture authentic, dignified portraits and document a culture that has survived for over 4,000 years.
Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch onboard before returning to Kawthaung in the late afternoon for a relaxing sunset stroll along the harbor.
Overnight in Kawthaung — Awei Pila Resort.
Photography Highlights — Day 5
📸 Shark Island cliff face: dramatic side-light at 09:00–10:00 for textured rock detail.
📸 Moken portraits: build rapport first; 35mm or 50mm prime; shoot in soft shade or use diffuser.
📸 Documentary sequences: arrival of fishermen, children at play, women weaving, evening communal meals — tell a complete visual story.
📸 Underwater split-shots (over/under) require dome port — magical compositions of village + reef.
📸 Kabang boat detail: textures of wood, ropes, sails — black & white conversions work beautifully.
(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch onboard, Dinner)
A signature day of island-hopping among Kawthaung's most photogenic gems. We begin at Long Beach — a magnificent 7-kilometer stretch of soft white sand backed by emerald jungle, often deserted but for the occasional seabird. Walk barefoot, swim, and frame minimalist seascapes.
Cruise next to Magon Club Island (Cocks' Comb Island), an exclusive private island with calm bays, swaying palms, swimming pools nestled into the rocks, and gourmet beachfront dining. Lunch is served right on the sand.
Late afternoon, sail to Jaland Island, renowned for its surreal limestone karsts, dramatic sea caves, and vibrant marine ecosystem. Snorkel and kayak into hidden lagoons before capturing one of the most cinematic sunsets of your journey.
Return to Kawthaung after dark.

📸 Long Beach minimalism: lone footprints, single coconut tree, leading lines of surf — wide-angle 16–35mm.
📸 Magon Club aerials: turquoise pools, palm shadows, pool-bar geometry — drone top-downs at solar noon.
📸 Jaland sea caves: tripod, low ISO (100), bracketed exposures (-2, 0, +2) for HDR cathedrals of light.
📸 Kayak silhouette against sunset — pre-arrange composition with our boat crew.
📸 Astro-photography opportunity after dinner: minimal light pollution, Milky Way visible Nov–April.
(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch onboard, Dinner)
A second day of exploration deeper into the archipelago. Today, we visit a curated selection of less-frequented islands such as Nyaung Wee, Don Pale and Kyun Pila, where powdery coves, hornbill-filled jungles and untouched coral reefs reward those who wander beyond the beaten path.
Spend the day swimming in protected lagoons, kayaking through mangrove channels, and hiking short trails to viewpoints offering breathtaking 360° vistas. Our marine guide will lead a snorkeling session over thriving reef communities home to parrotfish, reef sharks, sea turtles, clownfish and occasional manta rays.
Lunch is a chef-prepared seafood barbecue on a private beach. After a siesta in hammocks under casuarina trees, we capture the slow descent of golden hour before returning to Myeik.

Photography Highlights — Day 7
📸 Mangrove kayak compositions: low-angle from the boat with reflections — polarizing filter essential.
📸 Wildlife: oriental pied hornbills, white-bellied sea eagles, monitor lizards — 70–200mm or 100–400mm lens.
📸 Underwater storytelling: pair wide-angle reef shots with macro details (nudibranchs, anemones).
📸 Beach barbecue scene: capture the smoke, the fire, the cook's hands — environmental portraiture.
📸 Aerial top-down of pristine bays at midday — symmetry and pattern compositions.
(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Farewell Dinner)
